Job summary

Kautec Recruitment seeks a self-motivated HGV Vehicle Engineer to travel to client workshops across a designated area. You start your day from home, driving a fully expensed, kitted-out Light Commercial Vehicle.

The role covers preventative maintenance, emergencies, MOT prep, engine work, diagnostics, hydraulics, electronics and chassis fabrication across diverse platforms such as HGVs, GSE, RORO, fire and rescue, tractors and tugs.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence; Class 2 licence beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to client workshops across a designated area.
• Capable of fault analysis and following the repair process to completion.
• Health and safety minded and reliable.

Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?

If so, then this could be the role for you?

We are looking for a self motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

Your day starts when you start your vehicle!. Your commute is from your front door to your fully expensed and kitted out Light Commercial Vehicle

In this role, no 2 days will ever be the same and the products that you work on will be diverse. HGV’s, Ground Support GSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and rescue, Tractors and Tugs plus other bespoke operating platforms.

We are looking for a self motivated and independent HGV Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

• Engine work and diagnostic investigations

Your industry is moving faster with every day that passes. Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles are now part of the present and you will be trained on the newest products and repair techniques when required.

A Class2 Licence would be beneficial.

You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.
