Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems is offering an apprentice role in the Field Services area with a supervised learning environment to develop skills and achieve a relevant qualification. You will participate in a structured programme designed to build practical maintenance expertise and core industry knowledge.

You will attend college, complete assignments on time and work toward an NVQ while contributing to projects and service delivery, with instruction from a line manager and apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Follow instruction and learn new tasks.
• Able to work flexibly as part of a team.
• Able to attend work at required times.
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship.
• Willing to learn and to take responsibility for their own development.
• Willing to organise own workload.
• 5 GCSEs with passes including English and maths or equivalent (Current grading system Level 4 and above in all subjects)

Responsibilities

• Undertake a development programme leading to a National Vocational Qualification as part of an apprenticeship.
• Be willing to undertake any training and qualifications appropriate to the apprenticeship.
• Participate in own development plan agreed with line manager and apprentice supervisor.
• Attend college and complete assignments on time.
• Complete projects, timings and budgets as set by the Manager/Apprenticeship Supervisor.
• Gain skills for first and second line maintenance on equipment contracted to CTS at any time.
