Job summary

Business Unit:Cubic Transportation SystemsCompany Details:An apprentice roleJob Details:As an apprentice within the Field Services area, you will work in a supported learning environment to develop skills and knowledge which will assist in completing a relevant qualification.Job duties and responsibilities:EssentialTo undertake a development programme leading to a National Vocational Qualification as part of an apprenticeshipBe willing to undertake any training and qualifications appropriate to the apprenticeshipTo actively participate in their own development plan which, will be agreed with the line manager and the apprentice supervisorAttend college and complete assignments on timeComplete projects, timings and budgets as set by the Manager/ Apprenticeship SupervisorGain skills required to carry out:First and second line maintenance on any equipment as contracted to CTS at any timeRespond and repair Cubic devices in a timely manner and follow defined maintenance procedures to maximise device reliability and availability.To undertake the training and development programme provided to the best of your ability.To constantly improve performance through training, experience and KPI feedback.To minimise downtime on fault call outs.To assist with the installation or commissioning of equipment as required by CTS management.To aim at maintaining of quality principles compatible with current ISO standards.Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policy and procedures.
