Job summary

Envision Energy is seeking a Field Services Engineer for Battery Energy Storage Systems in Scotland. You will support device testing, write maintenance schedules, install production equipment, and perform planned and reactive maintenance at customer sites.

Regular site visits, collaboration with MEP, Development and Construction teams, and hands-on field troubleshooting are required to ensure reliable BESS operation across sites in Great Britain.

Qualifications

• RAMS/SHEQ/CDM knowledge required.
• Experience in electrical contracting or construction preferred.
• 18th edition BS7671 knowledge and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote HSE excellence within the team and the company.
• Develop O&M capabilities to support asset management as the base grows.
• Deliver O&M services for BESS assets and drive efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues with the O&M team and partners.
• Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers.
• Carry out annual PPM checks, capacity tests and reactive works.
• Complete admin duties such as time sheets and site logs.
• Travel across Great Britain to customer sites.
