We operate at leading theme parks, water parks, attractions, and tourist destinations throughout Europe and around the world, and deliver innovative media-documentation and content services that elevate the guest experience. Our core platform automatically captures, identifies, processes, and distributes photos and videos — turning ride- and attraction-based moments into seamless, shareable, cloud-based content. We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our retail management team and help us continue shaping the future of digital image capture.

About the role

Pomvom is seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and daily operation of our ride photography systems. In this role, you will help ensure that guests enjoy high-quality, reliable photo experiences across a range of attractions in UK and Europe.

We’re looking for someone proactive to provide high-quality second- and third-line diagnosis, repair and maintenance across PC hardware, printers, Point of Sale equipment and infrastructure.

You’ll play an important role in maximising system availability and uptime, responding to customer needs within agreed service levels, and making sure issues are resolved professionally and efficiently. You’ll also help identify potential risks before they impact system functionality or revenue generation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain PC hardware, printers, Point of Sale equipment and related infrastructure.
  • Provide responsive, professional customer support and ensure service requests are addressed within contractual SLAs and local agreements.
  • Act as a key customer contact, escalating issues appropriately following initial diagnosis and remedial action.
  • Carry out periodic maintenance and proactively identify and elevate potential threats or risks to system functionality and revenue generation.
  • Provide high-quality operator training where required, ensuring a consistent level of support.
  • Accurately record daily activities, equipment failures and repairs in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly asset-tagged and recorded within the asset management system.
  • Produce clear, high-quality weekly reports for the European Field Service Team Leader.
  • Support asset management and media stock takes when required.
  • Support new installations and upgrades of systems, equipment and infrastructure when requested and under the direction of the engineering team.
  • Follow health, safety and wellbeing requirements and use safe working methods to manage field service risks.

  • Experience in a digital media, PC and/or networking environment
  • Ability to work weekends or shifts as required
  • Strong problem-solving capability.
  • An understanding of test procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to customer service and quality.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across different areas of the business.
  • The ability to produce clear, concise and objective reports.
  • High levels of integrity, self-motivation, drive and enthusiasm.
  • The resilience and adaptability to handle change, pressure, conflict, targets and deadlines.
The qualities that will make you successful
  • Team working
  • Personal drive
  • Adaptability
Health & Safety

You’ll be expected to take responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing, as well as that of others who may be affected by field service operations. You’ll follow defined Company processes, standards and safe working practices to manage and control field service risks. This role does require the employee to lift and move heavy objects and work at height.

This is an opportunity to take on a hands-on engineering role where your technical expertise, problem-solving skills and customer focus directly contribute to system availability, service quality and customer experience.

What We Offer
  • A unique working environment in some of UK and Europe’s most iconic theme parks and attractions
