Job summary

Blu is seeking a Field Service Technician to cover the Manchester region. You will own the territory, perform maintenance and repairs on smart parking terminals and mobility hardware, and ensure high uptime for city infrastructure.

Working autonomously, you will diagnose issues, report through mobile apps, and collaborate with central support while strictly following safety protocols in urban environments. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

AND WHAT'S MY ROLE IN THIS?

As Field Service Technician, you will be the face of the UK Operations team across the Manchester region, taking full ownership of your territory to keep physical mobility hardware and smart terminal infrastructure operating at peak performance.

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and complex technical repairs on smart parking terminals, sensor technology, and mobility hardware
• Manage your regional territory autonomously to consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs) and maximize city-wide uptime
• Collaborate directly with the central technical support team to report hardware performance and share real-time insights on local infrastructure challenges
• Log all site visits, parts used, and technical resolutions accurately using a mobile workforce management application
• Champion safety standards by adhering to all health and safety protocols while operating in public urban environments
