Job summary

Provisur Technology in the United Kingdom seeks a Service Technician to travel to customer sites for installation, service and calibration of Provisur equipment. You will diagnose, repair and test machinery, train operators, and contribute to maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Vocational education in mechanical and electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read hydraulic, electrical and motor control schematics.
• 3+ years servicing, repairing and troubleshooting slicing equipment for food industry.
• Experience using electronic and motor control test equipment.
• Proficient IT skills including file transfers and MS Office.
• Knowledge of food processing machinery; slicing equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-oriented approach.
• Willingness for occasional international travel and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain machines at customers' sites, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and product issues.
• Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Evaluate failures and report root causes to Service Management.
• Manage parts, tools and equipment used during service calls.
• Inspect equipment and recommend spare parts, upgrades and maintenance plans.
• Support product demonstrations and sales activities at customer facilities.
