Ember, the UK's first all-electric coach company, is seeking a Mobile PSV Mechanic based in Inverness with roaming duties across Scotland (Aberdeen, Dundee, Livingston). You’ll join a growing team supporting 118 electric coaches and working with charging hubs under development.

Qualifications

• Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair to NVQ Level 3 or an international equivalent
• IRTEC accreditation
• 3+ years of experience at a senior level
• Familiarity with all aspects of DVSA compliance
• Experience in MOT preparation and safety/quality checks
• A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
• Preferred: High-voltage training
• Preferred: Experience in using a fleet management system
• Preferred: Full Category D PCV licence (we will help with training if not already in place)

Responsibilities

• On-the-front-line, solving immediate challenges to keep our coaches on the road
• Focus on planned and preventative maintenance to stay ahead of issues
• Work within a growing in‑house maintenance department and contribute to process improvements
• Utilise technology and remote diagnostics to troubleshoot faults
