Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform service, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment, often working independently but within a strong team, delivering an unmatched customer experience.

Responsibilities include safe operation, electrical testing, motor installations/removals, and precise alignment procedures.

Qualifications

• Baker IR and PI testing experience preferred.
• Ideally, 2+ years of AC/DC motor experience or time served in a similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardised work procedures, and apply strong analytical problem-solving dynamics in a continuous improvement environment.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and maintain professional communication.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends, willingness to be on call, and travel away from home.
• Ability to perform math functions and interpret fractions/percentages.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel locally and overnight.

• Perform service, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to deliver an unmatched customer experience.
• Work safely alone or as part of a team and adhere to safety standards.
• Inspect and test electro-mechanical equipment; perform electrical tests with portable equipment.
• Install/remove AC/DC motors and related tooling; read precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a professional environment with strong customer-facing skills.
• Complete work in compliance with operative policies and procedures.
