Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Service Repair Technician at the Bordon Service Centre to diagnose, repair and maintain electro-mechanical equipment to high standards. The role supports efficient turnaround times and accurate fault diagnosis, with occasional UK and international travel as required.

As experience grows, you will take on broader operational duties, technical support, and continuous improvement initiatives within the service function, collaborating with colleagues to uphold safety

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability on electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find, and repair electro-mechanical equipment to defined quality standards.
• Perform technical preventative maintenance.
• Meet agreed productivity and turnaround time targets.
• Accurately record repairs and service activity using ERP systems.
