Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform routine servicing, calibration, installation, and qualification of equipment to ensure accuracy and GMP compliance.

You will diagnose faults, document activities, and maintain strong customer communication. A UK driving licence is required; GMP exposure is advantageous; a competitive package including pension and health benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in field service, instrumentation, calibration, or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and documentation abilities.
• A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
• Install, commission, and qualify new equipment, ensuring all systems meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Deliver high-quality service activities efficiently, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Submit all field service reports, documentation, and expense claims promptly and accurately.
