Job summary

Culligan UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our team and service water treatment systems at client sites. You will perform maintenance, repairs and installations, ensuring systems operate efficiently and customers are satisfied.

The role offers structured training, a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule, a small company van with private use option, and opportunities for progression within our field operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred; full training provided.
• Full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
• Strong diagnostic and issue-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle installation and troubleshooting at clients' locations.
• Oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate issues or suggestions.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver outstanding service.
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
