Job summary

Culligan UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. You will service water treatment systems at client sites, install and troubleshoot equipment, and manage service schedules to minimise downtime.

A full driving licence is required and full training is provided. You will be supported by structured training programmes and have opportunities for progression within our field operations team as we continue to deliver cleaner, safer water with sustainability and service

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.
• Full driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues and work with power tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
