Job summary

Culligan UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our field operations team. You will maintain and repair water treatment systems at customer sites, install equipment, and troubleshoot issues directly at client locations. You’ll also manage service schedules and keep detailed visit records while delivering exceptional customer service.

Training is provided, and there are clear progression paths within the company as you gain experience. A full, valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle installation and troubleshooting at clients' locations.
• Oversee service schedules to minimize downtime for customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and report issues.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and provide excellent service.
• Weekly visits to the Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
