Job summary

Culligan is hiring a Field Service Technician to service water treatment systems across client sites in the UK. You will perform maintenance, repairs and installations, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency and delivering exceptional customer service.

The role offers training programmes and opportunities for progression within a supportive field operations team. A full UK driving license and a proactive, hands-on approach are desired.

• Strong customer-facing skills and clear communication.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on water treatment equipment.
• Willingness to learn and follow training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment at client locations.
• Manage service schedules to minimise downtime for customers.
• Keep detailed records of service visits and raise issues when needed.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and provide excellent service.
• Weekly visits to service centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations.
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions.
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
