Job summary

Culligan UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. You will service and repair water treatment systems at clients’ locations, ensuring they operate reliably and safely.

You will work Monday to Friday with a company van provided and opportunities for training and progression within a supportive field operations team.

Qualifications

• Background in plumbing or electrical fields, with full training provided.
• Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations.
• Oversee service schedules to minimise downtime for customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and report issues or suggestions.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver outstanding service.
• Weekly visits to the Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
