Job summary

Culligan UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our field operations team. You will service water treatment systems at customer sites, perform routine maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting, ensuring systems run reliably.

You will receive ongoing training, have access to a company van, uniform and tools, and a clear path for progression within a supportive environment focused on quality service and customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing or electrical trades preferred with full training provided.
• Must have a full valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment at clients' sites.
• Manage service schedules to minimise downtime for customers.
• Keep accurate records of service visits and report issues.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver excellent service.
• Weekly trips to service centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
