Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd in the UK is seeking a field service engineer to support the Field Service Manager (FSM) in daily field activities, including technical support and specialist installations, and to promote safe working practices.

The role covers fundamental field service engineering tasks and assisting the FSM in a Team Leader capacity, with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold full UK Driving Licence.
• Proficient in fault-finding and repair.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with Health & Safety requirements in workshop practice.
• Commitment to continuing personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Review Engineer performance with Field Service Manager monthly.
• Review jobs per day and chargeable hours per Engineer.
• Monitor PM Schedule/WIP with Front Desk and undertake Engineer Audits.
• Manage specialist truck installations and adhere to budgeted costs.
• Carry out site surveys prior to installations and ensure safety documents are up to date.
• Support FSM in Team Leader capacity and promote safe working practices.
