Job summary

Mantis Cranes Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support our expanding customer base across the UK. You will install, maintain and service specialist lifting equipment on customer sites nationwide, delivering high standards of safety and quality.

The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work at height.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer or Field Service Engineer.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with plant lifting equipment, cranes or construction machinery.
• Ability to work at height.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle tower cranes and lifting equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Respond to breakdowns and support customers on-site.
• Complete service documentation and compliance records.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.
