Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to cover Hampshire and surrounding areas. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and repairing critical power equipment including generators, UPS and control systems, with core hours 8:30am–4:30pm Mon-Fri.
You will fault-diagnose, install and commission equipment, provide technical support, produce reports, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires flexible hours, safety focus, and the ability to work across customer sites.

This Service Engineer role will be covering Hampshire and surrounding areas. The core working hours for this role are 8:30am 4:30pm Monday to Friday. The role is offering a basic salary of up to £42,000, with an OTE of £50,000 per annum.
The Service Engineer is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing critical power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, batteries, and control systems across customer sites. Key duties include performing fault diagnostics, conducting inspections, installations and commissioning, as well as providing technical support, completing accurate reports and mentoring junior engineers. The role also involves participating in an on-call rota, working flexible hours including weekends and overnights, enforcing safety standards, identifying sales opportunities and contributing to training, planning, and continuous improvement efforts across the business.
You will need:
Previous experience with service, maintenance and repair of power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, batteries and control systems.
Previous fault finding and diagnostic experience
An appropriate engineering qualification (such as a NVQ Level 3 or C&G)
To be flexible in regard to working hours
Excellent communication and organisational skills
