Job summary

Power Electrics is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to maintain and repair diesel generators across customer-owned and rental fleets in the UK. You will engage with customers, diagnose faults, and perform site surveys while adhering to ISO standards and safety policies.

Key requirements include an engineering qualification or apprenticeship, and a valid driving licence. Related experience with FG Wilson or Cummins is advantageous, with on-call duties and opportunities for training and

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Experience servicing/generating sets (FG Wilson, Cummins) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence; ECS/CSCS training optional.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance on customer-owned and rental gen-sets.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs; conduct site surveys as needed.
• On-call rota participation and safe, compliant work practices.
• Adhere to ISO 9001/45001/14001/50001 and health & safety policies.
