Job summary

Service & Repair Engineer role in Luton, Bedfordshire, with a leading engineering manufacturer serving Power, Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Industrial sectors. The role blends field service at customer sites with hands-on workshop work, supporting customers across the UK and beyond.

You will install, commission, repair and maintain equipment at customer sites, work safely to high standards, interpret drawings, diagnose faults and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering

Qualifications

• Field service or site-based engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused communication with site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Act as main customer contact during site activities.
• Oversee site personnel and third-party labour when required.
• Ensure work complies with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support overhaul, assembly, inspection and testing in workshop.
