Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their service team. This role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing specialist equipment across the UK and internationally, with a strong emphasis on customer interaction and hands-on fault-finding.

You will diagnose electrical, electronic, and electro‑mechanical faults, produce technical reports, and work with engineering and project teams to deliver customer solutions.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in Field Service, Maintenance or Technical Support.
• Strong fault-finding across electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning, and servicing specialist equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical faults.
• Producing technical reports and service documentation.
• Delivering exceptional customer on-site support.
• Supporting equipment trials, testing, and training activities.
