Job summary

Clearhill is seeking a Field Service Operator to cover the Sheffield/Nottingham area and beyond. You will own an on-site service, maintain and improve vending machines, and travel across mainland UK to support business needs and peak periods.

You’ll diagnose faults, keep machines clean and presentable, handle cash with accuracy, and optimise revenue through proactive monitoring and stock rotation. A hands-on role with responsibility.

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical or electronic experience required.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Decision-making on-site.
• Practical, problem-solving mindset.
• Comfortable using smartphones and apps for job tracking.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing vending equipment to a high standard.
• Diagnosing faults quickly and fixing them right first time.
• Cleaning and presenting machines to reflect brand standards.
• Collecting cash and ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maximise revenue.
• Rotating stock to optimise sales and reduce waste.
• Supporting installation of new machines.
• Maintaining van, tools and stock to a professional standard.
• Flagging issues early and taking ownership to resolve them.

Clearhill is growing, and we’re looking for a high-performing Field Service Operator to join our team in the Sheffield/Nottingham area.

This is not a standard service role.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel and provide operational cover across multiple locations throughout mainland UK, including at short notice to support business needs, staff absences, and peak periods.

The Role
