Job summary

Unknown Company in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install automated packaging machinery across customer sites, typically one site per day with UK-wide travel.

You will join a tight-knit engineering team, handling preventative maintenance and technical upgrades, and be on an on-site, customer-facing role with overnight stays approximately two nights per week, all expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance skills.
• Confident with PLC fault finding.
• Able to read electrical schematics and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and install a range of automated packaging machinery.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK, typically 1 site per day.
• Collaborate with in-house engineers and customers to resolve faults.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and technical upgrades.
• Overnight stays approx. 2 nights/week, all expenses fully covered.
• Every 6th week on-call, paid £150/day.

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 + Fully Expensed Vehicle + Benefits

Full-Time | Mon–Fri (40–45 hrs/week)
