Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to cover Devon and Cornwall, installing, maintaining and repairing manufacturing and food production machinery. You will travel to customer sites to install and commission equipment, diagnose faults and perform planned and reactive maintenance.

The role runs Monday to Friday, is field-based with a company van provided, and requires Level 2 Food Safety/ Food Hygiene certification or willingness to complete the training

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing environments, including food manufacturing.
Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
Experience with machinery installation and maintenance.
Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

Install and commission machinery and equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
Planned and reactive maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
Service and maintain manufacturing equipment in food production environments.
Work directly with customers on site and ensure safety/compliance.
