Job description

Job Description: Deskside Support (Belgium & UK)

Locations: Brussels, Belgium (Place Marcel Broodthaers, 1060 Saint-Gilles) & London, UK (Temple Mills)

Duration: Open for both, with a preference for permanent roles

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Number of Positions: 3 (2 in Belgium, 1 in UK)

Responsibilities:
  1. Investigate causes of unexpected server and service crashes and provide RCA for hardware failures.
  2. Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, servers, ticketing kiosks, and network devices.
  3. Perform OS installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting for Windows and iOS using Intune.
  4. Install third-party tools as per guidelines and manage hardware spare stock.
  5. Manage and troubleshoot hardware for Windows (x86 & x64), iOS, and VMware ESXi.
  6. Coordinate with vendors for faulty hardware replacements.
  7. Raise, handle, and resolve incidents and work orders.
  8. This is an onsite role requiring daily reporting, floor walks, and presence at the office.
  9. Create and maintain a knowledge base and central repository for information sharing.
  10. Possess good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Group Policy, and related tools.
  11. Knowledge of ITIL framework is required.
  12. Knowledge of hardware monitoring tools is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Deskside Support Technician.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong customer handling skills.
  • Ability to handle unforeseen situations and support on-call during site outages.
  • Willingness to travel across the Netherlands, Belgium, and France as required.
