Job summary

YouFibre Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and configure Wi‑Fi networks at customer sites across the UK. You will diagnose connectivity issues, perform on‑site surveys, and ensure high performance of wireless networks while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires hands‑on experience with routers, extenders, and Ethernet cabling, plus strong communication skills. A company van is provided and remote working is not the primary mode of work.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Wi‑Fi technology and networking principles.
• Hands-on experience with installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Wi‑Fi networks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Wi‑Fi networks, including routers, extenders and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Wi‑Fi connectivity and performance.
• Manage Wi‑Fi network performance, channel selection, signal strength and interference.
