Job summary

ESAB, a century‑old leader in welding and cutting solutions, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair our product fleet across the North England region.

You will build trusted relationships with customers, support sales teams, and drive service excellence through proactive maintenance and clear technical reporting. The role requires 100% travel within the sub-region or beyond Europe as needed, with occasional outside-hours support and a company car provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical services for industrial engineered equipment.
• Education in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering and welding.
• English language at B2 level and local language.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Provide operator training and technical support.
• Write technical reports describing malfunctions and deviations from design specifications.
• Coordinate travel logistics and tool preparation for field service visits.
• Support sales by identifying opportunities and providing technical input.
