Job summary

The ESAB Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair and support welding and cutting equipment across North England. You will build trusted customer relationships, coordinate with Sales, and ensure deployments meet quality and safety standards.

Travel up to 100% within the sub-region or internationally, with occasional after‑hours work. A company car is provided, and performance bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Education: Mechanical maintenance, electrical or electronic engineering, and welding skills.
• Experience: 5+ years in technical services for industrial engineered equipment.
• Languages: English (B2—Upper Intermediate) and local language.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols during daily operations.
• Install and repair ESAB product fleet and coordinate with customers.
• Provide operator training and write technical reports.
• Communicate work status and travel plans to Field Service Manager.
• Coordinate travel logistics and perform maintenance planning.
