Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists has a vacancy for a Service Engineer to provide installation, servicing and technical support for specialist food processing and industrial equipment across the UK. This field-based role requires fault finding, effective repairs, on-site and remote customer support, and travel to customer sites with a company vehicle.

Candidates should hold an engineering qualification or equivalent, have a full UK driving license, and be prepared to work independently while

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Right to work in the UK or valid visa.
• Experience with industrial machinery preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain equipment at customer sites throughout the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using drawings and schematics.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training where required.
• Complete service reports and maintain records accurately.
• Identify opportunities for replacement parts, upgrades and additional service requirements.
• Travel across the UK to customer sites and work in line with health, safety and quality procedures.
