Job summary

A Service Technician is needed to install, service, and support specialist food processing machinery across the UK. This hands-on role requires fault finding, routine maintenance, and strong customer service to keep equipment running smoothly.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to travel extensively, including nights away. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits within an international engineering business.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Scottish NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Legal right to work in the UK or valid visa for employment.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service machinery at customer sites in the UK.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Investigate and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Provide technical assistance on-site and remotely.
• Maintain service records and documentation accurately.
• Travel across the UK, including overnight stays when needed.
