Job summary

Domo Tactical Communications (DTC) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to help customers deploy, use and maximize our communication systems. The role combines product demonstrations with technical support, configuring equipment and integrating wireless systems with broader IP networks, while collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues.

You will be based at the Whiteley site when not travelling, with travel across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring or troubleshooting IP networked systems.
• Able to explain technical issues to customers with varying expertise.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, multicast).
• Experience with tactical or military communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver product demonstrations, customer trials and training.
• Configure and support IP, wireless and video communication systems.
• Help customers integrate equipment with their wider networks and platforms.
• Diagnose technical problems remotely and on site, reproduce issues for engineering teams.
• Prepare and maintain demonstration equipment at Whiteley site.
• Work with Sales, Engineering and Product teams to shape solutions around customer needs.
• Record support activity and produce clear technical documentation.
