Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Scotland

Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 Basic, Plus Overtime, Company Van, Phone, Laptop, Company Pension Scheme, 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, Full Manufacturer Training available.

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market-leading, international manufacturer specializing in hydraulic-based construction cranes and machinery. This role offers growth within a well-established brand, with extensive training, development, and career progression opportunities. The salary will be reviewed upon completion of relevant training, and overtime is available. The position is home-based covering Scotland, requiring flexibility for travel.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out service, repair, and maintenance on truck-mounted cranes.
2. Perform LOLER tests and inspections on all products.
3. Conduct fault finding and diagnostic testing on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
4. Manage own workload and work independently, ensuring high customer service levels.

Requirements:

1. Experience working on lorry loader cranes.
2. NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (desirable).
3. ALLMI certificate to operate and examine (preferable).
4. Full UK driving license.
