Job summary

Pure Talent Group is seeking a Technical Services Engineer / Photocopier to join their field-based team covering Swindon and surrounding region. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, repair and support of Ricoh MFDs and production print devices, with occasional office-based tasks at Swindon HQ.

You will also provide basic IT support across Microsoft 365, networking and endpoint technologies, working with IT support and sales teams to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Photocopier/Managed Print Engineer.
• Strong experience supporting Ricoh MFDs (preferred).
• Familiarity with Ricoh Smart Operation Panel and associated software.
• Strong knowledge of print drivers, scanning, user authentication, firmware management and print networking.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission Ricoh MFDs and production print equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain Ricoh photocopiers to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Respond to customer service requests within SLAs.
• Perform firmware upgrades and software updates.
• Configure print drivers, scanning, user authentication and network connectivity.
• Support production print environments where required.
• Attend manufacturer training and maintain relevant certifications.
• Provide remote support where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete technical documentation.
