Job summary

Aggreko is looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Sutton, UK. In this role, you will service, maintain, and repair critical power and temperature control equipment, ensuring customers receive reliable service. You are expected to handle breakdowns, carry out maintenance in the South East, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will be an apprentice-trained engineer or have equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical disciplines. A UK driving licence is mandatory. Aggreko offers a competitive salary, company van, and opportunities for ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in diesel engines, generators, HVAC, or similar equipment is essential.
• Comfortable working in mobile roles and on-site with customers.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Field Service Engineer based in Sutton. You’ll service, maintain and repair critical power and temperature control equipment, ensuring our customers can rely on us when it matters most.

What You’ll Do as a Field Service Engineer

• Service, maintain and repair power generation customer sites
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance across the South East region
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Complete job reports and H&S documentation accurately
• Deliver a high level of customer service while representing Aggreko on site

You Are

• Apprentice‑trained engineer or time‑served within a mechanical or electrical discipline
• Experienced in diesel engines, generators, HVAC or similar plant equipment
• Comfortable fault‑finding in electrically and mechanically complex environments
• Customer‑focused, safety‑led and comfortable working in a mobile role
• Holder of a full UK driving licence
