Job summary

TipTopJob in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer for mobile/industrial equipment in the South East region. You will repair electrical and mechanical equipment at client sites, handle parts replacement, and ensure commissioning.

The role requires PLC experience and electrical fault finding, and you must hold an electrical qualification (16th-18th Edition, Level 3 or equivalent). Expect extensive overtime, a call-out rota, stay-away travel, and company training.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and electrical fault finding.
• Electrical qualifications: 16th–18th Edition and Level 3 or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel and stay away as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace damaged parts and reassemble at client sites.
• Electrical and mechanical service and fitting components to specification.
• Lots of overtime and a travel-heavy schedule.
• Call-out rota (1 in 6) with stays away for installations.
