We are seeking a Field Service Engineer / Field Support Technician capable of fault-finding hardware and software applications, repairing hardware devices, and possessing excellent client-facing skills. This role is with a well-established company providing technical services and hardware support for the Retail and Hospitality Industry.

Locations Deployed

North East, North West, Central, South East & South West (UK-wide travel and overnight stays required).

All levels of experience considered.

Experience in installing, integrating, and testing EPoS hardware/software is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Relevant experience in IT support, electronic equipment installation, or similar environments is important.

Salary

£27,057 per annum (including On-Call Supplement)

Working Hours

13-hour shifts, 3 days on/3 days off rota, including weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements

Full UK Manual Driver’s License is essential. The role involves daily travel to client sites, some overnight stays, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues. Experience with data network cables and technical support is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to install, refurbish, and maintain EPoS and other IT equipment.
• Perform site surveys and audits to determine installation or service requirements.
• Conduct equipment swaps, setup Wi-Fi, and troubleshoot onsite issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and obtain client sign-off.
