Job summary

Tunstall UKI in Manchester, England, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to repair and maintain a range of health and care technology products. You will work with Warden/Nursecall and door access systems, delivering high-quality service from customers’ homes and care facilities within the UK.

The ideal candidate has an electrical/electronic NVQ Level 2, a full UK driving license, and experience testing fire systems, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate strong customer relations and professional communication with diverse clients
  • Ensure high standards of safety and quality while working in homes
  • Collaborate with team to plan and complete jobs efficiently

Field Service Engineer - Merseyside Tunstall UKI Manchester, England, United Kingdom

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team and help us to provide the highest quality repair and maintenance service to a select range of company and third-party products in an efficient and professional manner. This role is remote and will be based in Merseyside.

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Field Service Engineer at Tunstall, you will need to demonstrate exceptional customer relation and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with a variety of customers from vulnerable to elderly and working on equipment in their homes.

The Ideal candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Field Engineer, using your electrical and electronic expertise to maintain and test a variety of products, including Warden/Nursecall systems, dispersed/social alarms, door entry and access systems, along with a range of other electrical and electronic products.

Key skills and experience:
  • An Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Full Category B UK driving license (for manual vehicles)
  • Experience of testing Fire Systems.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to demonstrate effective team working
  • Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces.
  • Experience of working with the elderly or vulnerable.
