TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair sophisticated medical and surgical AV systems across NHS theatres and private facilities. You will visit sites, diagnose faults, and provide practical solutions while maintaining high customer service standards.

The role offers a salary of £42,000–£45,000 with OT, company car, £6,500 bonus, lunch allowance, healthcare and a 10% employer pension. Full product training plus ongoing development are provided.

Qualificações

• Minimum ONC or HNC in electronics or equivalent technical discipline.
• Strong field service or technical support experience with high-value electronic capital equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and confidence in customer-facing environments.
• Applications welcome from AV, medical device, biomedical, lab equipment, surgical systems sectors.

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for:

Responsibilities

• The service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical systems, utilised within theatres, NHS departments and private healthcare environments
• Visiting customer sites and providing customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting
• Liaising with a whole host of external customer contacts, including clinicians from within the NHS and a range of private independent healthcare organisations and laboratories

Requirements

• Strong background working in a field service or technical support role, gained within a high value electronic capital equipment environment
• Qualified to a minimum ONC or HNC level or above in electronics or another relevant technical discipline
• Impeccable customer service skills, an interest in IT and the ability to remain confident in customer facing environments
• Applications are encouraged from field service engineers from a wide range of electronic sectors, including AV / audio-visual, medical device, biomedical engineering, laboratory device, surgical systems, print press, semi-conductor, ex Forces (Radar / Avionics / Weapons Systems, RAF, Royal Navy and REME and Biomedical Engineers), audio-visual systems, industrial / commercial imaging or other areas of electronic manufacturing
