Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Medical Surgical AV Systems in the United Kingdom. You will service and repair sophisticated medical systems in theatres, NHS departments and private healthcare settings.

The role includes visiting sites, troubleshooting, liaising with clinicians, and delivering customer-focused solutions. Applicants should have field service or technical support experience and electronics qualifications such as ONC/HNC; training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong background working in a field service or technical support role, gained within a high value electronic capital equipment environment
• Qualified to a minimum ONC or HNC level or above in electronics or another relevant technical discipline
• Impeccable customer service skills, an interest in IT and the ability to remain confident in customer facing environments
• Applications are encouraged from field service engineers from a wide range of electronic sectors, including AV / medical devices and related fields

• The service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical systems, utilised within theatres, NHS departments and private healthcare environments


• Visiting customer sites and providing customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting


• Liaising with a whole host of external customer contacts, including clinicians from within the NHS and a range of private independent healthcare organisations and laboratories
