Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, implement and maintain BD Dispensing systems, including BD Rowa robotic storage. You will work across customer sites, building trusted relationships through responsive technical support and high-quality service.

This field-based role covers Southeast England, with a preferred base in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire or Norfolk.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding, repair, installation and preventative maintenance skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities required.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain BD Dispensing systems in line with project plans and quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software faults both remotely and on customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and complete service repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Deliver customer training and provide technical guidance to support the effective use of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, expenses and other required reports.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels.
