Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Medical Diagnostic Systems in the United Kingdom. The role involves service and breakdown repairs on high-value diagnostic equipment used in NHS pathology labs and clinical chemistry environments.

You will visit customer sites, provide troubleshooting solutions, and liaise with hospital laboratory managers and technicians. Full product training is provided by a global supplier.

Qualifications

• A background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer working on high-value capital equipment with electronics qualification.
• Experience on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems or high-value electro-mechanical capital equipment is preferred.
• Full product training will be provided; all backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and breakdown repairs on medical diagnostic systems used in pathology, NHS labs and clinical chemistry environments.
• Visit customer sites, providing troubleshooting and effective solutions.
• Communicate with NHS lab managers, technicians and external contacts to ensure service excellence.
