Job summary

Tiger Resourcing Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer for installation, commissioning and ongoing service across the UK. Role involves hands-on engineering, technical support and customer communication on vessels and shore installations.

Travel across the UK and overseas is required; most assignments last up to two weeks with potential extended hours as per contract. A driving licence and passport are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field servicing on vessels or shore installations.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software and basic networking.
• A self-motivated worker with good organisation.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and troubleshoot equipment and perform acceptance tests.
• Develop knowledge to deliver customer training.
• Prepare accurate service reports and expense submissions promptly after each assignment.
• Escalate technical faults to line management and document on-site issues.
• Assist the helpdesk with customer emails and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Maintain focus on service quality, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and complete required training.
