Job summary

Linde Material Handling in West Bromwich seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to diagnose and repair forklift trucks and warehouse equipment at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance and respond to service calls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The role offers a 40- or 45-hour week, shift premium where applicable, 25 days of annual leave plus holidays, and a company pension. Full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 are desirable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on and problem-solving oriented role requiring diagnostic skills.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Comfortable using IT and systems for record-keeping and order placing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet running smoothly.
• Travel to various customer locations; build strong customer relations and provide exceptional support.
