Job summary

Linde Material Handling is hiring a Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment across the Cannock/Wolverhampton patch. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and ensure parts are ordered and delivered efficiently.

Ideal candidates have mechanical/electrical/hydraulics experience, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), and full UK driving licence. A customer‑facing role with field travel awaits in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within field service.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is preferred, not essential.
• Must be IT literate and able to use latest record-keeping tech to place orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Undertake preventative maintenance across customer sites.
• Maintain accurate service records and place orders as needed.
• Work across the WS/WV postcode area with a field-based schedule.
