Job summary

Linde Material Handling in the Chesterfield area is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service forklift fleets across the S40/S41 postcode zone. You will diagnose faults, undertake preventative maintenance and carry out repairs on a range of equipment from pallet trucks to IC and automated trucks at customer sites.

We value practical mechanical or electrical engineering experience, NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) where possible, IT literacy for records and ordering, and a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering or Hydraulics.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
• IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and rectify on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Travel to customer sites within the Chesterfield patch (S40/S41) and work with customers and colleagues.
