Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a practical, motivated Field Service Engineer to join its team based in the West Midlands. You will service, maintain and repair electromechanical lifting equipment at customer sites across the UK, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role involves regular weekday travel, occasional overnight stays, a company van, laptop and mobile phone, plus induction and ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years’ experience diagnosing, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing, maintenance and technical support for customers across the UK.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on lifting equipment.
• Undertake scheduled inspections and complete the associated certification and documentation.
• Provide technical assistance to customers by telephone and email.
• Maintain accurate service records, job reports and travel expense documentation.
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Represent the business professionally while delivering a reliable and customer‑focused service.
