Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support and service advanced benchtop water purification systems used in research, quality control, and analytical laboratories. You will be at the forefront of supporting customers across your region, ensuring their critical lab equipment performs flawlessly.

Based in Southwest London, the role requires installing, maintaining, and repairing high-spec systems, with a focus on delivering outstanding service and growing service contracts.

Qualifications

• HNC (or higher) in Engineering or a Scientific discipline.
• Experience in a lab, technical, mechanical or electrical environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator able to work independently.
• Full UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and validate water purification systems in laboratories.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Provide high-quality service to customers and build long-term relationships.
• Identify opportunities for service contracts and lead generation.
