Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Service Specialist to join our global service team. This home-based role covers the UK with 90% customer-facing activity and 10% office work, focusing on corrective repair, inventory management, and customer relationships.

You will provide technical expertise on Waters Materials Science products across multiple laboratories, with some international travel within the region. A Engineering degree and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Engineering degree in relevant subject matters.
• Competencies: Can-do attitude, ambassador of Waters TA Instruments, home office service engineer, strong customer focus and relationship-building skills, willingness to learn Waters products and services, self-motivation and strong time-management.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, training, diagnoses and troubleshoots customer problems; assists with parts management issues.
• Repairs, installs, calibrates instruments and uses supported models; gains knowledge of applications software.
